Engage your Powerhouse.

Pilates is an exercise regimen that is typically performed on a floor mat or with the use of specialized apparatus (Reformer or Cadillac, etc.) and aims to improve flexibility and stability by strengthening the muscles and especially the torso-stabilizing muscles of the abdomen and lower back.

Using Lateral Breathing, Set Breathing Patterns, & Active breathing in Pilates, we bring fuel to the Powerhouse or center, which is the engine that drives us, as well as the Pilates practice at Sundara.
